In pursuit of this objective, the Trust established a medical college in July 1981, named after the esteemed Bharatha Rathna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. The formation of the Ananda Social and Educational Trust was the realization of a vision held by dedicated intellectuals and philanthropists. Their dream was to positively contribute to the upliftment of underprivileged individuals, creating opportunities for them to attain better positions in the social hierarchy through the provision of quality education. ​

Our medical college stands as a premier and pioneering private institution, delivering high-quality medical education at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels within the state. Offering the MBBS course with an annual intake of 150 students, we currently admit 74 students for various postgraduate broad specialty courses. All our programs are recognized by the National Medical Council, and the college, hospital, student hostels, and faculty residential quarters are securely located within the campus. ​

 4 Passport Sized Photographs.
 4 Stamp Sized Photographs.
 Medical Certificate.
 Nationality certificate.
 Proof of Registration as OCI (for Overseas Citizens of India).
 AIU Certification is mandatory (for Foreign Nationals).
 NOC from Ministry of Health, Govt. of India required (for Foreign Nationals).
 Candidate must send/ submit in person, the above documents to the college office and must carry the originals documents along with the prescribed Tuition fees to the college for final admission procedures.

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Medical College,Bengaluru offers MD and MS programs in various specializations at postgraduate level. Admission to MS and MD programs on basis of NEET score. The minimum eligibility criteria for taking admission in these courses require the candidate to have scored at least 50% aggregate marks in MBBS from an Institute recognized by Medical Council of India.
